Situated in the popular Portobello district of Dublin, neighbourhood restaurant Locks Brasserie follows in the footsteps of acclaimed sister eatery Pearl. Infused with an air of refined luxury, Locks Brasserie is classical in style, appointed in earthen tones, sumptuous textiles and simple art in a fitting tribute to the restaurant’s setting within a prettily converted red brick terrace. A menu strong on experimentation yet comfortingly familiar all at once is the Locks Brasserie trademark. In chef Rory Carville’s kitchen even the most simple and traditional of dishes is given a gourmet makeover, a reflection of his own Irish heritage fused with that of French manager Thomas Pinoncely, who comes to Dublin from a small village in South West France.

    I LOVED this place. The oysters blew me away - best ever. Atmosphere bustling and fabulous service.Thank you for a dinner I won't forget any time soon. I am so wishing I lived in Dublin to make this my regular spot.

    Locks Brasserie, Dublin 8, Beautifully presented meal, and amazing flavours, will definitely be back again. Excellent service also, Deal was very good value.

    We had an absolutely wonderful family meal at Locks Brasserie. This was our second visit, as my wife and I had enjoyed dinner there in December and didn't hesitate to book the restaurant again given the previous experience was very good. This time my father and our two children (six and 10) also dined with us and were similarly impressed. it was great to see that the restaurant now offers a children's menu at €9.50.
