A family-owned winery producing fresh, bright and unique wines from Napa & Sonoma. Specializing in unique & esoteric varietals and styles including Chenin Blanc, Muscat, & Riesling all made in a crisp, and dry style. In addition, LOLA produces excellent Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, & Cabernet Sauvignon.

The LOLA House, built in 1892, is a quaint and historical home in Calistoga, where we share our passion for all aspects of grape growing, wine making, food, & art. The charming, genuine, & fun tastings are held in the lush, outdoor garden patios surrounding the house.

Fun fact - LOLA Founder/Winemaker Seth Cripe is also one of the world's only producers of Bottarga, a type of caviar made from salt-cured and dried grey mullet roe. This rare and revered delicacy is the featured as an add on food pairing at the LOLA tasting room. A pairing unlike any you'll find in the world!

The Lola Artisanal Series

Albariño - St. Helena$45.00
Planted in the heart of Cabernet country on Zinfandel Lane, just north of Rutherford in the town of St. Helena. The finished wine is dry, fresh, and crisp with a subtle weighted creaminess on the palate to balance out the racy acidity, complemented by aromas of pineapple, citrus, lemongrass, and green apple.
Dry Riesling - Monterey$45.00
Fermented on skins to dryness and aged on the lees in neutral oak barrels. A staff favorite, this wine has beautiful notes of stone fruit, citrus, and jasmine and lean, crisp mouth-feel
Chenin Blanc - St. Helena$45.00
From 45-year-old vines planted just north of the town of St. Helena. This wine is fresh, bright and crisp with aromas of jasmine, pear and apples and a hint of mature oak tannin on the finish
Malvasia Bianca - St. Helena$45.00
Grown on the same vineyard as our Chenin Blanc. This wine is lean and crisp on the palate with intense floral aromas of orange Blossom, nectarine and apricot
Dry Muscat - Calistoga$45.00
From 40 year old vines growing at the crown of the Napa Valley, the northern most vineyard on the valley floor just north of the town of Calistoga. The wine is lean, crisp and dry with beautiful floral aromas of honeysuckle, peaches and melon
Zinfandel - St Helena$75.00
From our small one-acre vineyard located just east of the town of St. Helena along the Napa River. Aged in neutral oak for six months, this wine is bright and fresh on the palate with aromas of wild red fruits, sweet tobacco and bay leaf
Charbono - Calistoga$85.00
From head trained vines planted in the early 40's on St George rootstock. The wine is dark purple in color with aroma's of plums, blackberries, violets and tobacco all layered over a rich yet bright mouth-feel. Calistoga has some of the last Charbono vines planted in the world. The varietal is considered endangered globally
Cabernet Sauvignon - Calistoga$80.00
Grown just behind Seth and Rafa's house in Calistoga, this raw, unoaked Cabernet has bright aromas of blue fruits, plum, raspberry and currant layered over a vibrant, structure mouth-feel leading into a long supple finish

The Lola Classic Collection

Rosé of Pinot Noir - California
From our younger vines planted in Northern California. The grapes are hand picked and then lightly pressed to stainless steel tanks where the juice fermentation begins. We then add about 15% of the pressed clusters (grape skins and stems) back to the fermenting juice which gives the wine its light pink color and some additional structure and mouth feel. The resulting wine is fresh and vibrant with aromas of candied strawberry, fresh peach and watermelon
Chardonnay - Sonoma Coast
Pale gold in color with flavors of tropical fruits and citrus, complimented by delicate floral aromas and a bright crisp mouth-feel. A portion of this wine is aged in older oak (going through partial malolactic fermentation), to provide a caramelized richness to accent the fruity aromatics and palate
Pinot Noir - California
A blend made from our vineyards in Mendocino, Russian River Valley, Sonoma Coast, and Monterey. This Pinot Noir is bright garnet in color and opens with aromas of cola, blackberry, cherry, and cacao all layered over a smooth textured mouth feel and soft and lingering finish. An exceptional value and our most popular wine!
Pinot Noir - Russian River
A mix of Dijon clone 115 and 777, as well as a suitcase clone from Vosne-Romanée, France, that Seth brought back in 2004; all of which are planted at our Bloomfield Road Vineyard in the Russian River Valley AVA. This wine is deep garnet in color with aromas of wild strawberry, cherry, red currants and forest floor, accented by notes of vanilla, cedar and cinnamon. On the palate, the wine's bright acidity and supple texture is accompanied by delicate tannins and a long, lingering finish
Pinot Noir Reserve - Russian River
This is an effort to reintroduce the original wine style with which LOLA was founded in 2008 - native yeast fermented, neutral oak aged and whole cluster fermentation meant to showcase a pure and natural expression of coastal Pinot Noir. The wine shows beautiful strawberry and cherry aromas combined with a layered, textural mouth-feel along with bright acidity and firm natural tannins that give it the backbone for many years of age-ability. Cabernet Sauvignon - Napa Valley
Grown on the Napa Valley floor just south of St. Helena. We spend a bit more attention in the farming of these grapes in an effort to maintain acidity in the berries while still achieving optimal ripe dark fruit flavors. We are club members at Lola, and we have never had anything less than a fabulous time here. The wines are wonderful varietals and everyone is knowledgeable and welcoming.

Fantastic experience sitting in the garden tasting 6 wines. Cannot remember a tasting that I liked all the wines! Jarred was very personable and the perfect host! Please put this quaint, little tasting room on your to visit list! Not to be missed!!

We had a mid morning tasting at LOLA and were seated on their patio. It was such a nice ambiance and our server Jeremy was great at describing the wines and giving us LOLA’s background and history. We ended our tasting by purchasing some of the wine to be shipped home. Will definitely return when we are back in the area!

Quiet, comfortable and relaxing environment (outdoor courtyard). Tastings were generous and diverse. Jarred was informative and engaging, and he allowed us time in between tastings to enjoy the wine by leaving us to ourselves. No sales pressure to purchase wine, although we did buy 3 bottles for shipment back home. Highly recommend booking a visit!
