It was very loud. They sat my husband and I next to a party of 8 and it was like they were trying to talk over each other. I would recommend not putting two people next to a large party. Fabulous food every time I’m there. What also distinguishes Los Andes is the service. I’ve been there many times and am struck, always, that everyone working there is so nice. The last few times we have been to Los Andes (including yesterday), the food has been very heavy and oily. It wasn't always that way. Also, we were seated about 12 inches from the singer, who was very good; however, it made it very difficult to have a conversation amongst ourselves.この情報は役に立ちましたか?

The ceviche was VERY good, the tuna appetizer was very good, empanadas pretty good as well. They were generously stuffed and perfectly formed, the filling in both the chicken and the beef needed a little flavor development imo. Entree’s….eh. I will say that the chicken “envuelto” tasted better than it looked. The Jalea (fried seafood platter) was ok but frying the shellfish with the shell attached made eating a little difficult. It was almost like plastered to the shell. The remoulade needed citrus badly. My favorite part of that plate was the fried yucca. I will say that the seafood was cooked perfectly. The chicken with the hot peppers, giant onion petals and mozzarella cheese…..just a wierd dish that was dominated by these huge onion petals. There were so many that the dish still looked pretty full after all the other stuff had been picked out. Our server was VERY good, bar service was slow. A note on your menu. I prefer to eat vegetarian. I got seafood because the SINGLE vegetarian entree appears to be an afterthought.
