Los Tamarindos a Farm-to-Table Restaurant is located in San José del Cabo, at the tip of México's Baja Peninsula, only a mile from the Sea of Cortez. The farm and Restaurant occupied the side of a former 19th-century sugar cane plantation. In 2003, owner and excecutive chef Enrique Silva spearheaded the property's return to agriculture, this time becoming a sustainable farm, one if the first in the area.

The evening was excellent, the ambiance wonderful. The food was delicious. We ordered a salad with crisp arugula! Our mains were suckling pig and lamb. We enjoyed a bottle of Mexican wine. The evening could not have been better

Too expensive for the quality of food. The hen was good but the shrimp was not good at all. Beautiful Roma tic place but I wouldn’t come back

A little hard to get to, but definitely worth the drive! The location is beautiful and serene, and the food is some of the best I’ve ever had! Would definitely recommend!

Booked this the day of for a late reservation. We enjoyed an excellent meal including the tomato salad, grilled shrimp and pesto fettuccine. Everything was fresh and tasted delicious! Attentive service from Ilsa who kindly moved us to a nicer table that became available while we enjoyed our margaritas. Will return!

Love Tamarindos! The food is amazing and the setting is beautiful! Tamarindos never disappoints- a must visit in Cabo!

Located even further up the old dirt road on the mountain past Acre, we visited for dinner at night. The ambiance of the old structure was authentic and there was a musician playing live. Cocktails were good, but the shrimp appetizer was the star, and we had to order another. Unfortunately, the entrees were disappointing, as the sea bass was extremely overcooked and inedible. The server removed it from our bill, but the barbacoa lamb dish was so very bland and under seasoned, that I had to douse it with their sauce. Overall, decent to try, but not high on my list to visit again soon.

Our first time here, my Mom and a friend. Three other sets of diners. Friendly great servers. A bit cool in the shade, but maybe they have blankets. We did notice heaters. Spacious and airy. Loved passionfruit margaritas. Had pasta with veggies and prawns-exceeded expectations! Fresh made pesto runs competition with our homemade. Great coffees too. Not as touristy as Flora, no bakery. Loved the herb maze garden and flowers. Uber both ways. We’ll be back!
