We usually enjoy the food, service and experience but this time was different. We arrived to find that we were seated next to a 20 person table that was filled with extremely loud and rude people. Several of them were standing right next to our table for an extended time talking loudly and asking questions about our food. Children were allowed to run around screaming loudly. Parents were oblivious. The staff did nothing to control the mayhem. We had requested a booth that was located away from the chaos but we were told that it was reserved. Well we had reservations too and we were there. There remained open tables throughout our dinner. Service was slow. Food was good but the experience ruined it.この情報は役に立ちましたか？

The Hot Brown has stringy cheese and sour dough bread base. The cheese was not a creamy cheese and difficult to swallow. The bread was not toasted and soggy. Change the cheese and toast the bread. Lou Lou is consistently good with both food and service and tonight was no exception. My seasonal salad was fresh and flavorful, though I took off a star for value because the salmon on it was minuscule and the overall portion of the dish was pretty small (next time I will order the "large" for a few dollars more). My friend's salmon and salad were also tasty. But the real star tonight was our server, Jena. She was incredibly friendly and efficient, and made us feel so welcome - we lingered for a long time and she never made us feel rushed. She also brewed fresh decaf coffee for me. Lou Lou's is a fine neighborhood restaurant with a fine selection of entrées, beer and mixed drinks. My wife really enjoyed her gumbo. I ordered the salmon with snow peas. It's always delicious and, seasoned just right. You can get it as I prefer in olive oil or a special mango sauce. Either way you can't go wrong.
