Absolutely wonderful meal! We tried the special - shirt rib lasagna!! Best lasagna I have EVER had. My friend had the Hot Brown and said the sauce was very rich and the bread was delicious. We also got a Buffalo chicken pizza to go, and I ate some of that for dinner. Again, it was fantastic. I’ve read the negative reviews on here, and I will say that I’ve never had a bad meal here and I’ve eaten here weekly since they opened. There were a couple of times there was an error in my order, but it was fixed immediately and I consider that no harm, no foul. Running a restaurant is tough, and like every other restaurant in this town, there are times that they have to work around people calling out or there being a miscommunication between the server and the kitchen. Given that they are only in their second month, they seem to be working hard to get the kinks worked out and are serving delicious food. It takes awhile to get everyone into a groove, so a little grace goes a long way. Everyone deserves a second chance.

Very noisy, difficult to have a conversation. Waitress was friendly and kind, just didn’t see her often. Told us to keep silverware after appetizer, no where to place other than directly on table.

My husband and I went for the first time last night in Middletown. The food was ok. It really wasn’t like New Orleans style. Some of the flavors were there, but the jumbalaya was over seasoned and very few shrimp etc. Mostly rice and broth. My salmon was over seasoned and the bourbon glaze was like pancake syrup. I hate sharing a review like this, however I feel like a lot of corners were cut and it just didn’t work for us.

Not a fan and I really wanted to like the place. Really enjoyed the downtown location. Service was slow and not very attentive. Didn’t ask to refill my wife’s tea. Kitchen was also slow. Appetizers, Boudin Balls and Kentucky Oysters, were just ok. Boudin was better than the oysters. Something in the flavor profile of the oysters just wasn’t right. Entrees, Cajun seafood and voodoo mahi, didn’t have much flavor. Both needed salt. The mahi was dry. Very loud.

Food was absolutely delicious. The service was very good. I gave it a four instead of a five star because of the noise level. It was definitely the loudest restaurant I’ve visited. A Friday night at 7:15 after everyone else had been drinking for an hour could’ve been a reason, but overall the food makes up for it. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone if you can handle the noise.

Food was awesome and service was great. We tried the boudin balls and they were amazing. The catfish sandwich was great! And the sampler of jambalaya, gumbo, and red beans & rice was perfect. The beignets were pretty good too.

Very enjoyable. Raven our server was attentive but not hovering. The food delicious. As evening progressed, noise level skyrocketed and nothing to absorb noise. Not sure how to fix!!! I will return
