Welcome to Luka's! Nestled in the heart of gold country we are located on 35 main street in historical Jackson, just minutes away Award winning wine country, Kennedy Mines and blocks way from Amador County museum, Jacksons Historic Fire House and Saint Sava Serbian Orthodox Church. Luka's has a casual atmosphere indoor dining with a sunny patio dining in the warmer seasons. We have a full bar with 12 drafts and signature drinks, a diverse selection of local and California wines. Chef Abe Caterson and his team are well known for their seasonal dishes as well as our every day dishes that include choice steaks, creamy pastas, fresh salads, and hand made pizzas.

This was our first time to Luka's and will not be the last! We were very impressed with the food, service and ambiance of the wonderful restaurant! The Valentines menu was well done and had a great variety of main courses to choose from! Each dish was outstanding and very well prepared. If I could have licked the plates, I would have! Outstanding place to eat and celebrate any occasion.

I eat to taste, I don’t eat just so I can fill my stomach. I think of food as a treat. The restaurant is quite nice for it being in a small downtown. The servers were really nice. The food was presented well. However, the taste and quality of it is not worth the price. I’ve been to restaurants that are very pricey, I’ve also been to restaurants that are affordable and most of the time, their food is as good as expected or beyond my expectation. This time wasn’t. But overall, it was a good visit, good service, very short waiting time and food was just okay.

Experience was nice. My only complaint would be about the overcooked meat inside the Beef Wellington. Beyond that, the meal was great for my first time visiting.

We always have a great experience at Luka’s. Abe is a great chef and no matter what we order it is top notch! Also, the service is always above and beyond, so I recommend Lucas to anyone who wants great service and a great meal.

The kitchen staff is innovative and professional in their crafting of the food served here. I dine here weekly as a local resident and always find the staff courteous, prompt and professional in executing their responsibilities.

All six of us had a very tasty meal, ordering six different menu choices. Every meal was cooked correctly, nice presentation, and had great taste. Servers were very good, but a longer wait for the food was probably going to be expected as there was a large group in the "party room" as well as the restaurant was very busy. Overall, we will definitely be customers again.

Great cocktails and good hearty food. Very large portions we could have split entrees! Service was fast and friendly!

The place was nice, but we were seated in the back. We saw our waiter as she was all over the place. The food my wife got two little pieces of bread with her Tuscan prawns which looked like shrimp with noodles in a white sauce. She it was ok. Mine dish was the fried chicken. This was cooked either in the AM or I thought this tastes like the chicken from sav-Mart. Their chicken is good as this chicken Everything is ala cart. So, a place called Lukas you would think would serve bread with your meal. I almost forgot my potatoes had chunks of potatoes that weren't mashed I think if we go there, we will sit at the bar and order a hamburgers.
