For a newer restaurant inside of Bally's Dover, we thought the quality of the food and the selection might have been better. The menu pales when compared to other Asian cuisine in the regional casinos.
There were no traditional soups on the menu as an appetizer, only as full "meal" soups. No traditional egg rolls or spring rolls.
We ordered the General Tso's chicken and a vegetable lo mein as our entrees to share family style. The portion size of the chicken was rather small for the price - we typically can share and have plenty. The amount of sauce was minimal - not enough to provide sauce for the white rice or broccoli that came with the meal. The lo mein did not have many vegetables added.
While the server was very attentive (Makayla), the food delivered was lukewarm at best. It was definitely fresh, but would have been better if it was served hot. It was not much better than when they had the prepackaged Asian cuisine in their kiosk on the casino floor.
We also noted the "china" that has been used in the restaurant. While it is very attractive, as you move the fork across the plate, it makes a sound as abrasive as fingernails on a chalkboard! Not well planned, especially for a restaurant with a low noise level.
Here's hoping they can improve the menu and the temperature, but for now, we will stick with the Italian cuisine at Longo's next door in the casino or even Sugar Factory. They are far more consistent and much higher quality.
