In the heart of Marietta Square, Mac's Chophouse is a modern-vintage revival of the classic American steakhouse. Our menu highlights a thoughtful approach to locally-sourced ingredients and hearty, flavor-rich cuisine. We distinctly pair choice cuts of USDA Prime steak, sustainable seafood, and decadent desserts with a highly-curated bar program of craft cocktails, premium reserve wines, and an extensive bourbon selection.                 What a great dinner we had at Mac’s on Sunday night. We took our daughter and SIL for their anniversary. The five of us each started out with a cocktail, great selection. We shared their seafood appetizer platter, it was amazing. Lobster bites in a delicate sauce, a large crabcake with pretty much nothing but lump meat, their specialty roasted oysters (like a Rockefeller style), and up barbecue shrimp in a delicious sauce. Phenomenal! We shared a nice bottle of 2016. Bordeaux suggested by the sommelier. Our daughter had the grouper with a lobster crust. Four of us had filet mignon, one with a bleu cheese crust, one with foie gras, one Oscar style and one with a butter topping. Each was cooked perfectly and the accompaniments were outstanding. We added Brussels sprouts and asparagus, both terrific, and we wound up taking home two doggy bags. We shared a brownie with homemade gelato topping as good as you’ll find anywhere. The ambience is comfortable yet classy, and the wait staff is attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. You will not find a better steakhouse, or restaurant of any type for that matter, and all of Georgia. It is top shelf all the way.

                Lovely experience. One stake came out too cool on a cold plate. Service and management graciously made things right. Part of the issue was mine. The KC SIRLOIN comes pre cut off the bone. We will be back 100%

                We had a party of 5, seated on the main floor, where it is busy and lots of energy. The building has a great history and vibe. Food and service were excellent. Favorite dishes include beef wellington and pimento cheese appetizers. Scallops, Brunswick Shrimp and Filet Mignon mains. Mac and cheese and brussel sprouts sides.

                A lovely evening with great food and service. We had the filet mignon (cooked perfectly) and the stuffed lobster which was delicious. The brussel sprout and cauliflower side dish was a perfect accompaniment and the drinks were delicious. We badly needed a night out, and Mac's Chophouse did not disappoint. Thank you Roo and Jesus!

                Dinner was good but they sat our party of 6 in a small table in the window where the servers had to lean over us. The drinks took 45 minutes and my boyfriends steak was undercooked. They comped the steak but the service was not worth the price tag and the uncomfortable seating situation

                My husband and I celebrated Valentines Day at Macs this past Sunday and had an amazing meal! We had the Beef Wellington bites, French Onion Soup & Cesar Salad to start and everything was superb! I had the Barrel Filet cooked medium rare with bone marrow butter and my husband had the Prime Rib-eye and they were both amazing!! I was really looking forward to trying the Sticky Toffee Pudding but I looked at the wrong menu online so we skipped dessert and had some night cap cocktails. Our night was great with great service as well! Will definitely comeback!

                We ate Sunday Brunch. Crab cakes and Grouper sandwich. Seafood was fresh and tasty. Service was fast. Drinks were delicious. Always a great place to come.
