By day, Madame Bonté cafe combines sophistication with convenience to bring you the best quality specialty coffee, artisanal pastries, & gourmet sandwiches the city has to offer.

After the day is through, join us for a drink on our backyard patio, downstairs at our bar, or in our cozy and spacious dining room. Our 84th St. location now offers wine, beer and cocktails as well as small plates and some French classics. Our wine list is carefully curated, combining New and Old World wines from around the world.

Good selection of small plates. Limited selection lot well-chosen wines. What we could see of the outdoor garden seems lovely and will return when warner weather permits.

I expected more from a local restaurant, the carrot cake was good but other than that, pretty disappointed at the lack of effort. The menu say tartines come with “salad” ours came with a few sad looking greens straight out of the bag. If I had known I was not getting a salad per the menu description I would have ordered one. My hot latte was not hot. The place is cute and cozy. For neighborhood place I really thought they would put more effort, I wouldn’t come back even though is around the corner from my apartment.

I went for an early dinner and was seated downstairs. Modern decor, plenty of A/C and comfortable seating. The garden seating area was beautiful! I had the croquet monsieur with a side salad. Very well done- meaning, great job. Service was excellent.
