    Le brunch de Pâques était fantastique. Nous avons été très impressionné par la qualité de la nourriture (les œufs Bénédictines, les viennoiseries maisons, le jambon, etc.) et le service attentionné. Nous renouvellerons l’expérience.

    Large 13 people family dinner with 4 children. The waitress was outstanding. Very patient. Answered all the questions. The other servers were quick and on point. Finally the food was outstanding. Bravo Maggie Oakes!

    To start out on the positive, we had great service. The salad was great, the oysters were delicious, and the soup was a hit as well. We did not care for our steaks, though. They were tough, chewy, and the flavor wasn’t satisfying. We would not return.

    I went with 4 kids 8 and under. They had a good kids menu with generous portions. The service was excellent. Very attentive to the kids while making sure I also had a great experience.

    Service was extremely slow. The manager had to take our order. It took well over 1 hour to get our dinner order in and we had to ask twice. Luckily the manage stepped into help. Party of 4 should not take 2.5 hrs to get in and out of a high level restaurant. We only had 2 rounds of drinks. Service level just not there.

    Maggie Oakes was an absolutely wonderful experience from beginning to end. My daughter and I were traveling from the United States to Montreal for a mini vacation. My 18-year-old chose the restaurant because of the cuisine, not knowing the area and being unfamiliar with the restaurants we relied on online guides. This restaurant was highly recommended, and I can understand why. The service was exceptional, the atmosphere pleasant but the food went beyond all expectations. I highly recommend choosing this restaurant if you are looking for a nice sit down restaurant experience, It certainly is not inexpensive but the quality of the food and service make this place a gem.
