The cafe did not have our booking so when we arrived for our afternoon tea there was no food left! The first waitress just laughed in our face which rude and I was not impressed at all. The second one was much nicer and offered to give us a drink and some small nibbles for free as compensation. The overall experience continued to be a disappointment (due to the fact that it was Valentine's Day) and the waitress that laughed when she found out they didn't have our booking on the system started singing really loudly, completely ruining the atmosphere.

The service was so appalling that we left before having afternoon tea. The staff didn’t have any awareness of our booking and, to be honest, seemed to have no knowledge that the place even served afternoon tea. One of the fridges had malfunctioned and most of the shop/cafe area was covered with a layer of water which no one was cleaning up. After 20 mins at our table we still hadn’t been brought any tea - there were no other customers in the shop. As we put on our coats the three staff did not approach us, I then said to one of them ‘we’re just going to go’ and she shrugged. Astoundingly bad and such a shame as it had been booked for months as a birthday celebration.

Afternoon tea here was such a good choice. The store is bright and open while still being quite cosy and modern. The pastries are all to die for, particularly the blackberry cheesecake and pistachio flavors. The service was very personal without being overbearing. Perfect afternoon tea!

A young guy served our table was very helpful and super friendly. Seeets were all good, but no need to eat 3! I would do 1 at a time. This way may make the sweettooth enjoy more rather than feeling too filled.

Food was amazing. Champagne afternoon tea for two was great. A lot smaller than expected.

Cakes are absolute works of art although some flavours are bolder than others- we particularly liked the blackberry cheesecake seasonal special. The 3 eclairs & hot chocolate combo is a great deal but bear in mind this is a cafe rather than afternoon tea environment so may be quute noisy & crowded.
