                                                                        Makal continued to be amazing. This visit we did the 10 course tasting menu. Each course was thoughtfully prepared and presented and had flavors large and subtle. Makal remains our favorite higher end restaurant in Puerto Vallarta.

                                                                        An outstanding restaurant. Did the seven course meal with my guest. The food was cooked perfectly, a good balance in flavors, just well executed all around. I strongly recommend this to anybody coming to Puerto Vallarta to taste high end of classic Mexican cuisine

                                                                        Amazing experience with unique and interesting food that highlighted local ingredients and techniques. I would recommend the cocktail pairing menu; it sounds like it would be a lot of drinks, but it's actually a reasonable amount and they're all quite tasty

                                                                        We had an excellent meal at Makal. We each ordered the vegetation tasting menu and we were very impressed! Each course was served on a different style of beautiful hand made dishware. The cocktails were fun and inventive. There is a lot of attention paid to the details. Highly recommended !

                                                                        Our experience at Makal was incredible! From the delicious food to the attentive and welcoming service, I would absolutely recommend this restaurant. Lorraine was our server, and she was a gem!

                                                                        We had a wonderful time at Makal. The service was impecable. Our server was attentitive and helped guide us through the menu .The dishes were creative and unique. The beef tongue is a must. The cocktails paired perfectly with the dishes we selected. We didn’t do the testing menu but that also looked amazing.

                                                                        Food was great and certainly based on traditional Mexican cuisine. The experience takes about 3 hours and is worth it. Good cocktails.
