    Sushi was very fresh. Cooked foods were not as good. Yaki noodles had tad too much soy sauce and charred Brussels sprouts had too much vinegar. House salad was very good

    Management was attentive and delivered excellent service (ie: switching our plates after appetizer course involving raw seafood). Servers generally did not add to the experience - dropped off dishes with no description or details. Food was delicious and lively fun ambiance.

    As Always a very pleasure dinner.. by far one of the best restaurants in Miami. Great food, excellent service. Our server Madison was the best.

    Great food and value. This will be my new go-to place for Japanese dining or any top shelf dining. There were 4 of us and we got to order a number of dishes - all were delicious and perhaps outstanding.

    The vibe is outstanding, beautiful surroundings. Modern Japanese food was truly outstanding. The Seabass in particular was the best we’ve ever eaten. Nicole our server was outstanding. Makoto has a culture of excellence which permeates every element of this restaurant! Run, don’t walk to Makoto!
