Mama Yo is located on Camden Street in Dublin 2. The menu, which blends traditional Chinese recipes with a contemporary twist, has been created with sharing in mind, so is perfect for groups and family style dining.
With an extensive menu covering dim sum style small plates and an array of mains and sides, come prepared to make some tough choices!

The stunning interiors of Mama Yo, featuring two full sized trees in the middle of the dining room with bespoke silk lanterns, create a magical and enchanting effect, adding a layer of far eastern exoticism to your dining experience.

The restaurant is also extended with a fully roofed and heated Terrace for Dinning or private hire.

Our Roast Duck is subject to availability and must be pre-ordered a minimum of 48 hours prior.
To pre-order, please make a note on your booking to experience a truly authentic Chinese speciality.

While the food was fine the service was poor overall. Very inattentive staff, no clear system of who was taking care of our table and communication between staff was lacking. Difficult to order drinks and to get the staff's attention. The portions varied greatly, some of the main courses were similar in size to starters that were ordered. The food tasted nice was wasn't particularly good value. €9.10 for a side of broccoli is ridiculous. The decor was interesting and we enjoyed the space. Probably wouldn't return as there are many restaurants in Dublin where you can enjoy great food and service for that level of pricing.

Food was yummy but didn’t like the fact that the restaurant children friendly. They had no kids menu and no colouring sheets to keep our kids occupied while we waited for food

From the outside you might think the restaurant was a bit dour looking but that all changes when you walk inside. A wonderful decorative seating area---with a tree in the center. Staff could not be more attentive and professional. Service was prompt and the food was excellent. Enjoyed the experience and will return.
