I will not return. The roast lunch special and another special had been sold out by 1:00pm. The seasonal vegetables served with the steak was only mashed potato and broccolini.

The menu has a good range of options at reasonable prices. There are different areas you can choose to sit. I like supporting the RSL.

Understandably busy for fathers day. Had reservation, still waited 1hr for food. Staff were hit and miss with kindness and approachability. Some above and beyond others just didn't want to talk to you or help. Ordered food on menu not supposed to be so had to re order with line manager who came tonour table. He was lovely and helpful. $15 for kids meals overpriced with seemly "free" drink and icecream. For undercooked pizza with massive amounts of cheese. Got given wrong drink ordered lift got juice. Didnt want to bother staff as so busy and not approachable. Did not know where to get cutlery from and found random station and got forks to eat with. When we needed staff no one around. Would have been good with someone on the floor roaming with so many people. Other staff kept taking plates and cups away as soon as empty but we had a jug so we could refil so needed the cups (werent asked oddly). Spilt drink couldn't get someone to wipe the table dry, even with staff getting cups they would do it so quickly with no talk or eye contact (unapproachable). Good portions for adult meals and prices. Rump was ok but quality didn't seem great, like budget meat. Fish of the day was huge and worth it. Chips yummy crispy beer battered. $9 is pricey for a side. Room for improvement, I get its busy but just wasn't expecting to wait so long. Kids got restless. Very loud in kids area, opportunity for a quiet space would be awesome in future planning and changes. (Suggestion) Magician PK was great! Loved his work and charisma. Parking awesome and easy. Beautiful facilities and cleanliness. Overall okay, not awesome and not bad. Will be back as it has potential and a lot to offer. Just won't be a regular until it improves. Thanks!

I have been eating at the Maroochy RSL for a few years now but over the last twelve months, the quality of the food has gone down remarkably. Yesterday we had lunch with friends and one of their meals, the pork on the bone, was raw in the middle and went back for replacement. I had the lamb shank which consisted of a massive bone, plenty of fat and grissle, with little meat. The beans were tough and went uneaten. It is time I looked elsewhere for a lunch venue.

The pork loin chop was tough and the green beans were inedible as they weren’t cooked enough. Staff were lovely, pleasant and attentive.

Excellent experience, food and service were of a very high standard. The live music was a little too loud for one of our group - can't please all of the people all of the time.

We were a group of six, meals arrived at different times. Two of us had finished before others received their food, some meals were just lukewarm, obviously been sitting for a while. One meal was inedible-the diner did not want to complain- staff collected the plates and didn’t even question a left meal! Full price meals were not the quality they should be for the cost!

Really good food, the friendliest staff on the Coast and a welcoming feel all round. Try the trivia night on Monday it is so much fun.
