                                                                                      Great food and service! The waitress was really nice and the restaurant manager. He came over to introduced himself and made us feel welcomed. I’ll def be visiting again when I return!

                                                                                      I had read many great reviews and happy to say our experience met our high expectations! I shared the mahi entree and a veggie burger with my daughter bc I couldn’t decide what kind of mood I was in. Both were excellent. My son got the Lucy burger and loved it and my husband the whole snapper. The calamari is awesome and we got 2 salads for appetizers as well. Very fresh flavorful ingredients. Def recommend Maxine’s!

                                                                                      Super load DJ music. Maybe turn it down a notch. It’s not a nightclub. Service was excellent. However, the food was not good. We ordered some appetizers. The cheese tray was mostly grapes. And some cheap cheese and crackers, including a pile of feta. What is this? My son ordered a burger. It was two thin patties that were not homemade. Our pasta was okay, pretty bland though. Our white wine was not chilled. I would only come back to have drinks on the patio.

                                                                                      PROS Great upbeat Spanish music Good bacon breakfast burrito Delicious latte CONS Waitress Ester would not bring physical bill when asked, just credit card machine. When asked if gratuity was already included in total, she said a 6% credit card processing fee was included, which was the truth. But when we repeated question and asked if any gratuity was included for her, she said no, which was a lie. So we left a 20% tip. But we did have receipt emailed to our attention. When we checked later, we learned bill already had an additional 14% gratuity already included. So if you go, enjoy food, but get a hard copy of receipt, before paying bill, lest you over tip.
