    The food was absolutely amazing. The oysters were nothing shy of perfection. The waiter seemed a bit rushed but was ok. The overall experience was wonderful. I will visit again.

    We made reservations here just because it was close to our hotel. It was terrible. The food was not hot. The fried oysters were the worst I have ever eaten anywhere. Nothing was good. It took forever to even place our order. The waitress was just too busy to wait on us. When we got ready to pay the check, we had to keep asking to get it. Service was absolutely terrible.

    Server knowledge of oysters was very poor and there were only 3 varieties! Didn’t need her to stand table side simply pushing the most expensive dishes available. Redfish was dry and overcooked - presentation of lump crab was fast food-ish. I do not recommend the dish. Portions seem small for shrimp & grits. M&S has gone downhill - used to be 5 star, now seems to be a tourist trap!

    When we walked in the front door, the bar and foyer floors were flooded. They should have asked us to reschedule. By the time we had eaten our appetizers, the area where we were sitting was half flooded. And the sound of the shop wet vac had been constantly running. Our table was moved to the adjacent room. We enjoyed the red fish and rainbow trout. Both well prepared. The meal should have been compted, but the Mgr offered only a modest discount.

    Service was slow and innatentive. Our food arrived long before our drinks, which took over 30mins. Granted the bar was super busy, but service was still very slow. Food was average. Truffle Mac and cheese had basically no truffle flavor. Generally disappointing.

    Seated us 20 minutes AFTER our reservation. Food arrived before the drinks 45 minutes after we sat down.
