Meat On Ocean is a meat-centric, modern steakhouse in Santa Monica that offers both a sense of adventure and breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. Beyond the offerings of a world-class steakhouse, Meat On Ocean features an artisanal charcuterie bar, an exhibition dry-aging room and a variety of prime beef – from dry-aged domestic cuts to Japanese A-5. Integral to the operation is a highly trained crew of servers and butchers, who communicate directly with Guests about the beef, organically farmed chickens, house made sausages, choice seafood and more.

Located on the corner of Ocean and Broadway, Meat On Ocean is steps from the action - including the Santa Monica Pier, shopping and hotels.

Starting May 2024, Meat On Ocean is also your headquarters for private dining and events, with customizable spaces that are perfect for social events, corporate meetings, birthday parties, anniversary celebrations, wedding receptions and ceremonies, with full audio/visual connectivity.

This New Year’s Eve, Tuesday, December 31, 2024, enjoy a four course prix fixe menu with Guest favorites and chef-inspired creations, plus a champagne toast to bring in the New Year. An additional wine pairing enhancement will be available. The complete New Year’s Eve menu will be shared leading up to holiday. Please note that only the prix fixe menu will be available for New Year’s Eve dinner, starting at 3:00 p.m.

    ワインなどのラインナップが多くあり、食事に合わせてお酒を色々と楽しめてよかったです。 お肉だけでなく、サイド料理も素晴らしかったです。また、訪れたいお店でした。

    最初にワインの試飲をさせてもらったのがすごくよかかったです。一生に一度は行きたい絶景でした！友だちと二人で行ってとても幸せな時間を過ごせました。またいつか行きたいです。

    海が見える席でリクエストをしたらちゃんと窓側の席で取っておいてくれたのが嬉しかった。夕方だったので眩しいがロールカーテンがされていたので景色を遮ることはなく日差しを少しカットできた。飲み物のオーダーを二人分したが、一人分しか来なかった。前菜？のパンが出来立てで美味しい。頼んだサラダも豪華で、お肉も入っていてそれだけで一品になる。ロケーションは抜群、値段は高いが満足できる内容。リブアイが美味しかった！

    The ambiance we nice, we were seated within 10 minutes from our reservations & the staff was friendly. Our waitress seemed rushed and didn't offer/ask if we wanted any drinks or starters before taking off with our order. We had to call her over to order drinks, then again, for everything else we needed. She didn't stop and check on her own. The food we ordered from the regular menu was all delicious. However, the pre-fixed Thanksgiving dinner was sadly disappointing. Not only did it arrive luke warm, but I chose dark meat only, and when my plate arrived, it had a tiny scoop of dark with a few slabs of white meat. It had very little gravy & the stuffing was not good. I didn't send it back because I wasn't able to find our waitress after other staff had brought our plates, and I didn't want to keep my family waiting. Overall, good place for a date/ dinner, but not for Thanksgiving dinner.

    The food was so tasty... It is very pricey, but so is every restaurant in Santa Monica. The food was good, it's actually worth it at Meat on Ocean ! The cocktails were delicious and the steaks were cooked to perfection. The only thing I didnt love is that now they charge for their bread...
