Mel’s is a pizza restaurant run by Michelin-decorated Chef Melissa Rodriguez. The centerpiece of the menu is a wood-oven pizza, designed to be a cross between a Neapolitan pie and a New York slice; with a chewy, bready crust and enough structural integrity to be eaten slice in hand. The restaurant has no gas cooktops; everything is cooked over an open fire. Mel's boasts access to the deep wine cellar at Al Coro next door, so you can drink Barolo with your margherita–the most elegant combination in all of Italian cooking.
