Located in the heart of Mission, Mercato brings rustic Italian culture to Calgary.     I love your Tagliani and we stop in often to have. Alas, i cannot sit in the sun nor high tables so request table 35. Enjoy the market also. Not convenient for us as we live in NW but we make the trek.

    The food and service were excellent. It’s a great place for a family style , social meal so don’t expect to be in and out quickly. Still one of my favourite Italian restaurants.

    We had dinner at Mercato on 4th -New Year's Day..... The meals were great, the only issue was timing related the our main courses arriving at our table.....2 dishes arrived & the we waited almost 5 mins for the remaining 2 to arrive. Not sure why....the server never mentioned anything The Appies & Main course meals were very enjoyable , once we got them !

    Seating at the bar was wonderful and you felt part of the experience. The mussels were to die for. We found the best dining was done ordering a few dishes and sharing them! They were all delicious!
