Mercurio’s is a family-owned and operated Italian eatery located in Shadyside and O’Hara. Anna, Michael, and Joe are a sibling trio that has grown up in the business started by their parents in 1999. We are officially the 'Burgh's Best Pizza voted by 100.7. Come check us out and see for yourself!

We offer our guests authentic Italian antipasti, insalate, panini and pizze, along with wine, beer and our award winning homemade gelato.

    Mercurio was chosen as an option to participate in Best Bites in Pittsburgh via Pittsburgh Pizza Passport. If it were not for this Pizza Passport, our party of two would not have known about Mercurio’s Fox Chapel even though we live in the Strip District. Mercurio’s is truly deserving of its reputation of quality food, service and convenient location, off Route 28. It’s bruschetta appetizer, Panzanella Salad ( spring mix, baked Italian bread, peppers, grape tomatoes, red onions, garlic, cucumber, Asiago cheese, extra virgin olive oil, and balsamic vinegar ), Margherita Pizza and Pizza Bianca were exceptionally prepared and presented. Every dish is of the highest quality, fresh and delicious. Our waitress Linda was professional, exceptional, accommodating, thoughtful, courteous, helpful, attentive, respectful, gracious, informative, kind, and caring. Our sincere thanks and gratitude to Linda, to her sister who prepared the Panzanella Salad, to the chef who prepared the dishes and to the staff at Mercurio. We are looking forward to returning as repeating customers.

    We enjoyed our favorite pizza and gelato. It is ALWAYS good at the Fox Chapel site. Our server, Lynda did such a good job of serving all of the tables in her section that was full.

    we love this place. the pizzas are amazing! the salads are so fresh. the cocktails are right on. the restaurant was packed however our server was excellent. she waited on us …was at the bar making drinks…was totally multitasking and we never felt neglected!!! our new favorite place!!!

    We went for lunch. We’re one of the only people there and it was unpleasantly cool.. Service was perfect and simple salads were very tasty. Would like to try again at a busier, livelier time.
