Finding harmony between authenticity and originality is something that first ignited the flame at Mesa Verde back in 2013 and continues to feed it today. While it’s fairly evident that an affinity for Mexican food and agave spirits is at the helm of what we do, our city’s rank on the culinary frontier has brought with it a particular nose for experimentation.

So, since we’re very literally in the heart of Melbourne up here on the sixth floor of Curtin House, high above the city’s jugular Swanston Street, we feel it’s our responsibility to highlight what Mexican dining (and drinking) looks like in the eyes of the modern Melburnian.

$10 Margaritas 4pm - 6pm daily.

    Love it! Sat at raw bar with exellent service from our chef. They even made off menu cocktails for us. Gianni was very attentive as well. Highly recommend this place

    Reserved a standard seating table for 2 for our date night. But when we got there we seated at hightop tables with other guests. When asked about our original reservation they mentioned they had to accommodate a bigger group after we made our reservation. We were okay with our seating, but soon after one of the waitress was eager to let us know that we have vacate our table so they can accommodate other bookings even after spending more than $300. Never had an experience like this in any other place before. The staff were polite and looked after us well till we were asked to leave. Never going back again.

    We sat at the bar, the server was very good, knowledgeable and friendly. The food was delicious! We had the oyster shot and rib eye, very well cooked. Would absolutely come back!

    The gentleman that served our table was very knowledgeable in the selection of drinks, assisted the table with everything we needed, and it was a great experience, we can't wait to be back. Thank you

    Loved this discovery! Such lovely decor and welcoming surrounds, absolutely fabulous food, great wine choices and friendly attentive service. Can be a bit loud but even so, a nice vibe and the booths are especially comfortable. We look forward to going back!
