Metropolis is my favorite restaurant in the south end. Love the bartenders! Such a cozy wonderful vibe with amazing food and drinks! Fantastic mocktails as well 🍹

All the food was excellent in a charming space. Great place to get dinner before a show nearby. from brussels sprouts and mussel appetizer to Risotto and other entrees.

Excellent food and service. Our reservation was at 1 o’clock and we were seated at 1 o’clock, which was great. Many varied food options, enough to come back many times!

Delightful small and lively restaurant with very pleasant staff and yummy food. My omelette was perfect - light, not greasy, cooked exactly right. Our fellow diners all seemed to be enjoying themselves...and we certainly did. Just a good vibe to the place.

Food, service and ambience top notch!! My husband and I hadn't been there since we lived in the South End 40 years ago. I know somewhere he read the Cafe opened in the 90's but we're fairly certain we ate there in the 80's, around 85 to 87. We won't wait so long to return next time!!

Great ambience in this small and cosy neighborhood restaurant. The food was delicious. I had the cod. It came with clams and chunky potato and bacon pieces - a perfect blend of ingredients. My husband had the chicken, which he said was excellent. Afterwards we shared a sticky toffee pudding which was incredible. The best ever!!
