   I went for my birthday on St. Patrick’s Day. First time there, my party and myself expecting brunch but turned out brunch is only served on the weekends. The food was good but expected a little more food on the plate. Margaritas were delicious. I’ll try it again with the girls on the weekend!

   Mexican Sugar gets all the stars from us. It’s incredible food, ambiance and Marquis provided top notch service. Manager Jen was great fun too. Highly recommend!

   Waited 40 min with a reservation , drinks were slow to come out, appetizers come out with the food, the food wasn’t that amazing but the patio was cute. Not recommended

   Great service disappointed that they did not have a lot of the liquors that we requested and the food was good. I’ve had better, but the ambience is awesome. The views are great, which makes the overall rating very good.

   We made a reservation for 11 PM following an event in Houston. We arrived before 11 PM and were asked to sit at the bar as the restaurant was about to close. We were ok with that, but why are you accepting reservations at a time you are closing? You were not closing or closed. When we got to the bar, the bartender told us we had to hurry up and order as “we are closing”. The bartender was rude and obnoxious. I had heard a lot of nice and great things about this new restaurant and wanted to try it. We just wanted to have some appetizers and a drink. They were able to accommodate us just fine. No idea why they had to be so rude towards us about when we arrived and wanting to have a bite. Food was excellent. Drinks were great, although the didn’t have Cabernet Sauvignon? Who doesn’t have Cab? Questionable experience. Not sure about returning if this is the norm.

   Service was above and beyond and the food was definitely a step up from traditional texmex!

   Food was delicious not a long wait time, drinks were very refreshing. The service was our only issue, server didn’t come to our table to check on us as frequent as he should have. We waited over 10min for a drink refill, and even longer for the bill.
