Michael’s Genuine Food & Drinkは、2007年春にマイアミのデザイン地区にオープンしました。オープン以来、シェフ/オーナーのMichael Schwartzが得意とする地元の素晴らしい食材を重視した自家製の気取らないおいしい食べものを基本とし、くつろいだ雰囲気と本当においしい料理を楽しめる近所のビストロを目指しています。レストランは毎日オープンし、ランチ、午後のメニュー、ディナー、ブランチを提供しています。メインのダイニングルームと中庭には100席、The Bar Roomには16席、月曜から土曜の15:00～17:30までraw bar（ロウバー）などの午後のメニューを提供するウェルカムバーに24席があります。セイボリー＆スイート（甘味・塩味）の食品の週替わりメニューを揃えたサンデーブランチも楽しめます。レストランはマイアミの豪華なファッションの新しいプレイグラウンド、賑やかなデザイン地区に位置しています。

    I'm sorry to have to report this, because I know there are hardworking , well-meaning people making an effort to put out a good meal, but based on last night, that's no longer working here. The grilled pork collar was dry and tasteless, served alongside a few limp shards of undressed lettuce. The wood roasted snapper was a nice size portion of decent fish on an otherwise naked plate. The bucatini was average, the 1/2 roast chicken was bland, and although the $67 NY strip itself was good and cooked perfectly, the underlying 'au poivre' sauce was a bore. The fried food was solid -falafel balls, potato chips and $13 French fries, The noise level is very LOUD. Our server was lovely. But the valet parking was the best part of the experience. My suggestion, with respect, is that Michael himself assess the quality control so as to produce the level of food that he is proud to put his name on.

    Great service in a very relaxed atmosphere. The bucatini may have been the best pasta dish I’ve ever had and I travel to Italy frequently.

    We sat at the bar and both bartenders were super helpful and engaging. The tuna app was amazing as was the ceviche. Our entrees came out soon after we finished our apps, and they were perfectly prepared and delicious. The food is always fresh and service is spot on. You're going to spend some money here, but the experience is well worth it!

    Sarah and the entire staff offered a great experience. We enjoyed each item, especially the strawberry flan; we had to order a second round. Please keep the strawberry flan on the menu forever! This is definitely one of the best restaurants at MDD.
