A British restaurant and bar, Millie’s Lounge serves classic dishes alongside a selection of English sparkling wines, craft ales and seasonal cocktails.

From Monday to Saturday, you can enjoy traditional afternoon tea, set amidst the Grand Banking Hall. Enjoy cakes, scones and a selection of sandwiches with a choice of tea.

Please be advised that that Poultry Street is Entry only and Princes Street Exit only. Bookings can't be made for only drinks. Registered guide dogs only are permitted in public areas or restaurant of The Ned. Children are welcome in the restaurant with last booking at 6pm; seated up to 8pm. We will try to accommodate pushchairs where possible but please be aware there may not be space at the table. If you would like to request a highchair or for further information please contact the restaurant directly.

Please note The Ned reserves the right to refuse or cancel any reservation either ahead or upon arrival.

    The place is very special, couldn't find a single definition to describe it. It's actually pretty much everything - a bar, a restaurant, a club even. Nice location, great interior, live music. Gatsby party vibe!

    Very busy, extremely noisy, little table which almost didnt fit our seafood platter. Very long wait for drinks and then they brought a wrong cocktail. Will not be coming back. On the other hand The Parlour downstairs was fantastic.

    Continues to decline. Waiting 20 mins for a coffee. Food arriving with incorrect order. Omelette was basically an egg patty with some ingredients thrown in to make it look like a taco. Definitely not nice to eat and left half. Service charge of 14.5% is a joke too. Staff look overrun so maybe not their fault but won’t be eating here again.

    Good vibe - very good food, wine and service. My only comment is that the music is very loud so it is hard to hear the other person talk. But that would not stop me going there as I like everything else !

    The tea offering was a bit basic and overpriced. The china and general presentation was impressive. Our waitress was very attentive.
