Located on the outskirts of Toronto’s vibrant Yorkville neighbourhood, the MIMI story begins with memories of the past. Loud conversation over plates of steaming noodles.     Wonderful experience shared with my cousins. The food was delicious and spicy, the excellent cocktails were balanced and creative and our server was phenomenal. Overall such a wonderful evening. Go with people so there are lots to share and go hungry!

    There were no misses in terms of the food, everything was delicious. The service was impeccable, the best I have had in Toronto in a long time.

    The wait staff was extremely attentive (e.g. I managed to drop my chopsticks - twice!!!- and they barely missed a beat and had new pair at my side) without hovering. Haven't been to this restaurant since its opening and the food is still the same high quality. Had a great evening!

    Service was a 10 from calling the host to rearrange our reservation to our dinner service to exiting. 10/10 presentation, flavour and timing of the kitchen. Many thanks.

    We didn’t think the food was good at all. Nothing special. The hidden Chicken was way too salty — tasted fried and salty. The scallion rice —couldn’t even taste the scallions! Location next to a Rooms to Go in middle of nowhere. We would not go back.

    Dining out on NYE can be very hit or miss. I am pleased to say that Mimi was a 100% hit! A multi course tasting menu that was different than their usual, so a nice treat… oysters, beef tartar, pork belly, noodles, bluefin tuna, Wagu beef, rice with scallops, lovely stir fried green vegetables and cake/pudding to top it off. Started with a complimentary Prosecco and we enjoyed a 2019 St Emillion, perfect.
