   Mimi Chinese was one of the best meals we’ve had in Miami — and mostly thanks to Ken. Ken had the best recommendations, from wine pairings to dishes, to make our first experience unforgettable. It’s the perfect foodie date spot.

   We are an amazing dinner at Mimi's. We have eaten at David's restaurants in Toronto. This was as good or better. Very creative dishes and excellent service. Probably the best upscale chinese in Miami. Definitely a must

   Great restaurant on all fronts! Great food, drink selection and excellent service at the bar. Everyone was super friendly, especially the manager and the bartender. They opened two months agoHighly recommend!

   The dumplings were amazing however the fried rice and string beans were so salty they were almost inedible.

   Excellent food- we literally enjoyed everything we ate and all was delicious. This is my 2nd time and I will for sure be back. The only thing I would say is they could use a bigger dessert menu not just two items (and soft serve that was broken I think they said).

   I do not usually eat Chinese but was advised re this place by colleague passenger in a recent cruise. The praise was well deserved and next time in Miami Beach would go again.

   We discovered Mimi on the same day in which we attended. We were only able to get a reservation at 5:15pm. We were thrilled to be able to attend. We arrived early and were promptly seated. The decor was exquisite. The lighting to the furniture made us feel as if we were in a picturesque, luxury, Chinese ballroom. The service was impeccable. We were greeted by Yassar who seemed to be a barman but he was versed in all areas of the restaurant. He then introduced our server Jeffrey, an incredibly well presented individual who exuded a politeness which made us feel like royalty to put it frankly. Jeffrey knew the menu as if he had written it himself. He proceeded to humbly educate us on the many cuisines of China and the provinces of which each meal came from, and which we would be enjoying tonight. We were very excited and the evening had barely begun. Jeffrey suggested the Chef’s Choice Set Menu and my what a choice it was. I don’t want to divulge too much about the food itself, I will allow you to enjoy with the same wonder and excitement we enjoyed. However, there are dishes which you can not live without which I will include on my review. The cucumber salad, the shrimp toast, the mocktails, the steamed bass, every course left a lasting impression and kept us wanting more. You will thoroughly enjoy every second of your experience.

    Claudia, our server was terrific. She explained the concept of the restaurant, dishes, and answered all our questions. The food was very tasty, flavorful, and just the right portions. The venue was very loud and made conversations difficult. The prices were just a tad high, for Chineses food. I would dine again, but for a special occasion, not everyday dinning.
