Located on Mission Street between Ocean Ave & 7th Ave, in Carmel California. Mission Bistro Restaurant is owned by Shaheen Alnuaimi. Our history-rich location is warm, charming, and above all cozy. We offer brunch, lunch, dinner, local, and import wines. Chef Matt Zimny sources from Monterey and Santa Cruz County farms and ranches with the goal of serving what is fresh and currently available. At Mission Bistro we do Seafood and Steaks right. Cheers!

Just great overall!! We had the Swordfish (Amazing), Bread appetizers (Amazing) and the Beet Salad (Amazing, and I hate beets)

We love Mission Bistro restaurant. We go there every time we are in Carmel. The food is consistently good, as is the service. We were recently there for lunch just a couple of days ago. We had the muscles. Those are fantastic. The broth is amazing. We had the burger and the chicken sandwich. Both are very tasty and very large. We had leftovers, and those were good the next day as well. I do recommend taking the pickles off the sandwich as they can overpower the flavor if you're not a huge pickle lover. They periodically have a housemade blue cheese wedge on the menu, it's a delicious salad with a zesty blue cheese dressing. I've also had their salmon dish several times, and that has always been very tasty.

This restaurant is on a side street just off the main street of Carmel, in easy walking distance from anywhere downtown. The ambience was very attractive, warm and comfortable, with some great paintings on the wall, beautiful turquoise padding on the back of the bench seats. The food items we had were different from items you normally find on menus, but delicious. Service was great, very quick and responsive.

Great food and service. The Bread service is definitely worth the charge, it’s amazing. Super friendly owner makes you feel at home. Highly recommend this place, can’t wait to go back. Had the Parpadelle and Beet Salad!

The beet salad was the best I could have imagined, I almost ordered another as my dinner. I did order the mussels appetizer as my meal and could not finish because of the quantity of mussels. Overall great time.

The service was good, staff was personable, and food was great. What really hit ball out of park was they accommodated our dog inside on a cold Carmel day and had dog menu. Will definitely come back to this place!

Came to Carmel for the weekend, wanted to enjoy a nice restaurant. Overall was an okay experience. Hostess and server were kind and provided great service. Steak frites was highly disappointing. Steak was overcooked and fries were overcooked as well. Black cod was ok but the cost the of food doesn’t match the quality. Chocolate marquise dessert was good but was confused by how hard the bottom of it was and I’m not sure if that was by design or what. Had much higher expectations for this place. Wouldn’t come again.
