                                                                        Food and service were spectacular. Although there was a Saturday evening crowd the atmosphere was relaxed and we never felt rushed. Our server, Brian, managed to be attentive without being fussy. Appetizers and entrees were beautifully prepared and served. The roast duck with risotto and the branzini were standouts. Mistral has kept its high standards for nearly 30 years.

                                                                        Great food, but for a restaurant that’s been around this long there’s just nothing for someone that’s into wine. Great producers in the list, but all too young and undrinkable vintages for the most part. Red wine is basically off the table. Even if you wanted to pay $5k for a bottle of DRC you wouldn’t find one that’s ready to open. What has the som been up to for the past 20 years? That said, beautiful dining room and great service. Food is on point. Drink champagne and cocktails though.
