    We had dinner and made reservation on open table. Was easy. Then we got there and had a good server, but the food was not the best. The ambiance is amazing. They have a large drink menu. Ordered an old fashioned and they ran out of what was on menu and subbed something without telling us. The appetizer of calamari was horrible. It was over fried and the server had to take it back. We couldn’t eat it. He took it off the bill. Had the potato leek soup. Was alright but lacking flavor and seasoning. The Brussels are amazing. They come with orange slices and apples. The pesto tortellini was amazing. Homemade and gluten free and so much flavor. Was just cold. The steak and frites were good but the frites weren’t seasoned. The tiramisu was ok but not that much espresso flavor. The presentation of dishes is great. The tableware and service was great. Hotel is beautiful inside. Dinner was about 125.

    This was our first time at Monarch. The dishes we chose were very good! Nice ambiance. I think choosing to go in middle of the week was good. I am sure it can get loud and busy on weekends!

    Get. The. Brussel. Sprouts. Sooo good. I had an awesome filet and husband had the pork. Both were cooked to perfection! Only downside is that our server checked in right after we arrived then not again for 20 min. We were waiting to order and have our wine opened.

    Our Valentine’s Day dinner was absolutely fantastic! Service was great but the food was even better. The center cut filet and prime rib were fantastic!

    The food was very good. Service was good. Wines by the glass are Ok but could use a little work. Our cocktails were well made by the bartender and good.

    It is a wonderful location, great Ambiance and décor. Great cocktails and flavorful food. A must have in Omaha dining.

    The pork was very dry so my wife sent it back and opted not to have it replaced. The other three in our party enjoyed the chicken marsalla. We always enjoy the curtained booths and we've never had an issue with the food before. The Monarch remains on our list of favorites in the Omaha area.
