PINSA（ピンサ）とは、かつてローマ帝国時代に城壁の外の農民たちによって焼かれていた平たいパンのことです。 Montesacroは、米国初の「ピンサリア」です。米、大豆、ローマから直輸入した小麦後をブレンドし、モダンなピンサを作っています。遺伝子組換えの材料は一切使用せず、低脂肪、低カロリー、消化しやすいものになっています。

スタッフ(イタリアの方)の一生懸命なサービスが印象に残るレストラン。店内の雰囲気も良く、料理も美味しいが(ディナータイムであったので)周辺の状況に緊張しながらの帰路であった。

It was great the place makes you feel like you are somewhere in Europe minus being in one of the worst places in town 6th street but I guess that adds to the adventure. The staff was great and the food was very good being that it was a limited menu being that it was Valentine’s Day.

So good! Super cute place great service and food was amazing! The area in which it is in is not the best but also a cute little alleyway! Some of the best pizza I have had!

We’ve always had an outstanding experience and wonderful food at Montesacro SoMa, but our experience is exceptional when Selby is our server. He is informed about all aspects of the menu and takes great pride in providing warm, courteous, and efficient service. Beatrice is an exemplary manager, always working hard to support her staff and serve customers. She always succeeds in making you feel welcome. Montesacro SoMa has become our go to spot for pre-theater dining, because of the food, but also because of the excellent service Selby and Beatrice provide.

Had a pleasant experience while having a quick dinner before our Broadway show! We were seated right away, and had an attentive staff and the food was delicious as well

The menu is simple, but the pinsas are delicious, salads are good too. Nice option before the theater or for a casual bite and glass of wine. Service was good too
