Since 1974, Montpeliano Restaurant has been winning over the hearts of London’s Italian cuisine aficionados, even attracting a number of celebrities to its Knightsbridge location. Sprawling over two floors, with a sliding glass roof and an abundance of plants, this stunning garden-style restaurant is the perfect place to dine on a sunny day, or to enjoy a romantic evening meal under the stars. The restaurant was closed !! And OpenTable accepted the reservation! The restaurant's website is out of order and the phone does not answer. No warning at the lock door! What happened??

This is a great location and good ambience. The service was a bit of hand, with a need to ask for attention. Not very warm.

I have been there twice before and loved it . This time everything was disappointing. The food was tasteless. Not the same atmosphere. The waiters seemed tired.

An elegant and sophisticated Italian restaurant in the heart of Knightsbridge. Top quality dishes, well presented and professionally served. The menu offered a wide array of dining options to suit all palates. You really get what you pay for. Would be delighted to return here again and recommend it to others.

We booked the lunch menu online this was a great deal at 17.50 per person and table option times up to 1900 hrs so we booked a table at that time. We arrived at the restaurant at 1900 hrs and showed the booking form, then the owner said its 1902 hrs and we could not have the lunch menu (the restaurant only had 2 people dinning) the assistant manager agreed we could have our lunch menu. The owner showed use no respect, refuse to talk and made us very unconfutable. The food was excellent, and the bill came to £66.00 in the end, but I will never return or recommend. Martin and Linda

Montpelliano has a nice, family atmosphere and works well for family gatherings, friends coming together but probably also dates or business settings. The menu remains the same over time but has something for everyone out of traditional Italian kitchen and the wine list is very good.
