2012年12月、コロラド州ベイルにあるSweet Basilの創立者による斬新で革新的な新レストランがオープンしました。ふさわしい名前を持つMountain Standardは素朴でくつろげるタバーンです。古代の調理方法を使い、ベイルの渓谷で新しいスタンダードの確立を目指しています。 Mountain Standardのメニューの大半は、薪を使った直火を用いた最も原始的な調理法で調理されています。古代の調理方法を専門とする峡谷で唯一のレストランです。エキサイティングな新レストランでは、ロッキー山脈地域とその周辺の最も純粋な食材を使用した素朴で大胆かつ真っ直ぐな味わいの料理を楽しめます。料理と同じく、一流の食事とカジュアルな雰囲気の完璧なバランスが取れたサービスを提供します。スモークもミラーもありませんが、シンプルで誠実な心からのサービスと料理が魅力のレストランです。エネルギーが溢れるダイナミックなレストランの雰囲気とよく似た美しい小川のそばのロケーションにあります。

Parking details
Mtn Standard is located in the heart of the Vail Village, which is a pedestrian village. Take interstate 70 to the Vail exit #176. Proceed through rotary intersections so that you wind up heading East on the So. Frontage Road (ski mountain side of the highway). Go eastbound approx.¼ mile to the Vail Village parking structure. Exit the structure out the middle portal to the south. Go across the Covered Bridge another 75 yards, and go right on Gore Creek Dr. We are down the steps past the Fountain
Public transit
The Vail Village free in town bus shuttle is available year round throughout the village. Take the bus to the Covered Bridge stop and proceed as noted below. Free public transportation is also available from East to West Vail into the Transportation Center at the main parking structure.

We had a great time. Lindsay was super. She explained the ingredients and helped us with our food allergies. Drinks were creative. Recommend this restaurant highly.

This is one of the best meals we have had in Vail Village. The appetizers (lamb skewers and pimiento cream) were fantastic. Our mains (salmon, rotisserie chicken) were wonderful too! The spot is charming and currently has an ice sculpture and bird sounds display in front. Loved it and will return!

You cannot miss with Mountain Standard. The family style rainbow is not to be missed. And the oysters and oyster shooters. And the carpaccio. See, I can’t stop!

Clean fresh well prepared and presented food. The menu is well thought out and executed by the kitchen and it rotates regularly. The serving staff are attentive and well informed and the atmosphere is alive without being over the top. All in all a wonderful experience.

Made reservations got right in even a few minutes early, did take a while for someone to come over for water. Food & drinks were great! A Must get is buttermilk biscuits!

We love stopping at Mountain Standard for a family dinner while in Vail. They have a diverse Kids menu along with an amazing regular menu to appease all of our palates. We can’t wait to dine again soon!
