MR MIKES SteakhouseCasual is defined by what we aren’t, as opposed to what we are. We aren’t like other steakhouses. No dark lighting, starched tablecloths, pretentious servers or overpriced steaks. From our signature steaks to our famous Mikeburger®, we have something for every taste and budget. Enjoy Happiest Hours pricing daily from 2pm to 5pm and 9pm to close, and lunch and dinner service everyday. Wasn’t a great experience and the food was lacklustre at best. Had to remake our meal since they over cooked it.

Long-time friends and I met for pre-Xmas lunch. The restaurant was quiet. Service was responsive. I had the Oscars Sirloin Lobster. Steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare, and the sauce was delicious. The friends had the tacos and steak sandwich. Both of which were also perfectly cooked. Found the cocktails and mocktails to be sickly sweet. Nice flavours, but way too sugary. That would be a simple fix. The sticky toffee pudding and the rocky mountain madness were both delicious. Based on all of this, I'd definitely return. Word of warning. If you have an actual food allergy, double-check everything. The fryer cooks it all - fries, fish, rings, etc. Potentially deadly for someone with a severe seafood allergy.

We attended to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. There was a sign congratulating us on our table which was a really good touch, however our appetizer was forgotten and put through after our mains had already arrived. The food was great but we were still charged in full even though the appetizer was forgotten and late. Still tipped 15% because I used to be a server and know things happen but it’s the little things that you do for your customers that make up for the mistakes.

Very attentive and free service, great food and value. Unfortunately it was a bit of a quiet lunch for the staff but great overall.

We made our reservation on February 6th. Upon arriving, we were put in the bar side and was given a table with wooden stools. Very uncomfortable! Was there no table for two in the restaurant? What was the point of making a reservation ahead??

I do like Mr Mikes but did find the food last night to be underwhelming. I did not raise this with the server and she was nice. The food was not awful but it didn’t wow either of us. With so many dining options now available Mr Mikes may need to up their game slightly.
