A Family Tradition For Over 90 Years

Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant first opened in 1934 with Mrs. Knott and her children serving the first customers in their tea room. The restaurant has grown over the years into one of the largest in California, but the classic fried chicken dinner is still made the same way today using Mrs. Knott's recipes.

Every complete chicken dinner includes handmade biscuits, side salad, choice of cabbage or cherry rhubarb, three pieces of fried chicken, and mashed potatoes smothered in gravy. For dessert: your choice of boysenberry pie or boysenberry sherbet. Many other dishes are also available including grilled chicken, salads, and a number of appetizers. A full-service bar, serving signature boysenberry-infused cocktails, is also available.

Currently, we are following all government-issued regulations and seating is currently outside only. Thank you in advance for understanding and we are in this together.

    レストランとショップエリアはリストアされていて、新しく、綺麗です。フライドチキンは、いつも通り美味しかったです。

    Best chicken tenders I have ever had. My husband's fried chicken was amazing. The boysenberry lemonade is delicious. Great on its own and awesome mixed with the iced tea for a fancy Arnold Palmer. The atmoshere is that of a warm and friendly family owned restaurant. My husband and I really enjoyed it.

    have not been here in maybe 15 years. We came for my sons birthday. I was a little skeptical when we sat down due to the menu prices. For what it is, it seemed a little pricey. However once we ordered and realized all that came with the dishes (bread, soup AND salad AND dessert) it made it worth the price. The portions actually were huge. Also the service was great.

    Overall, the meal was not nearly as good as I remember it. I ordered the all white meat meal for $31.50. The chicken was very dry. The cabbage was good. The rhubarb was tasty but not soft. Potatoes and gravy were good. The biscuits were good but not enough for our table of five. This meal has always been a favorite and a little more attention in the kitchen would bring it back to the level expected by your fans.

    The food was terrific. Service was great. But they seated us in the bar area where almost no one was. That seating area is okay, but it was extremely empty. And the ambiance in there is good but not excellent.

    The food was exceptional, and the service was outstanding. Our group of 24 was comfortably accommodated, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food and excellent service!
