   The food and service was on another level. From the moment we arrived, valet service to being greeted and escorted through the doors to our table, nothing but professionalism. The staff was very welcoming and presented everything we order with detailed descriptions. The food was colorful and tasty, we were not disappointed with any dish.

   Valet parking on Kalakaua Avenue is very convenient, and valet walked us to the restaurant. Polished and professional staff, very nice people who were happy to talk about the hotel, restaurant and menu, and to answer our questions. We started with the caviar enhancement which came with tiny bilini pancakes, shallots, chives, egg and creme fresh. That was a fun way to start our dinner. We had the sampling menu and thoroughly enjoyed oysters, scallops, lobster, duck, Wagyu beef and desserts. Everything was beautifully presented and delicious.

   This restaurant is 1st class all the way. Every detail of the food is spectacular. The service and timing of the delivery of every element was spot on. If you’re looking for a “high end” experience, don’t miss this spot. Absolutely fabulous!

   Not bad. But for the high price one expects either impeccable service or gorgeous environment in addition to great food and really no more than 1/3 were there. Feels like dining next to a pool (like Deck) but no view. Boxes piled up everywhere. Tea poured all over the table. Food tasty but immediately went home and had second breakfast after paying over $50 a person. Not a lost cause but still has a way to go.

   Best experience. Service, food and atmosphere was on point. They have 3 somms on the floor talking about wine throughout your whole dinner service. Highly recommended

   We enjoyed the experience so much! The sommelier was well travelled and very knowledgeable about his selections. And we appreciated the intermingling of stories about the local culture. And the food took us on delightful journeys. It was lovely having a dining experience where the food and service were wonderful without a pretentious ambience. Well done!
