Equal parts restaurant and experience, Mulberry Italian Ristorante is a wonderful option for those who want an authentically delicious meal. Explaining that it may look like the Bronx, but that it tastes like Manhattan, this cozy eatery is just south of the center of Buffalo and offers iconic Italian foods.

Visitors to Mulberry Italian Ristorante can enjoy their lunch or dinner menu items and will find that even some of the standards are far more creative than what they usually encounter. Freshness is also a huge part of the experience, and the caprese is hand crafted each day while the pasta is homemade on the premises. We found the service and ambience very nice. We were greeted right away and seated at our reservation time. What we were not happy with is how rushed we felt. The appetizers came out quickly and just poured a glass of wine. Before we even finished the appetizers, out comes the entrees. We had our food wrapped up and bill on the table in barely an hour. We were sitting there enjoying the wine and really felt like it was time to go. I don’t think we’ll return feeling like we needed to eat quickly and leave. Not a great dining experience at all.

If you don’t try mulberry you’re basically saying you hate God and everything that has to do with amazingness. The ricotta gnocchi are literally pillows of heaven for your mouth. Portions on food are huge! In Buffalo there’s no place like it! Go eat, go to mulberries!
