   Great time spending my birthday here at Mulino’s with my friends! Elizabeth was amazing as our waitress and the food and cocktail selections were as always, amazing!

   I’m hoping the slow service was just due to the influx of people downtown this past weekend. It took over an hour and fifteen minutes to receive our food, which were two pasta dishes. Unfortunately, the food arrived cold and crusted over, as it seemed to have been sitting for a while. We also ordered bread service twice throughout our dining experience, but both servings were noticeably different. Despite this, I would be willing to give it another chance because the ambiance was great.

   Dined here with group of 10 to celebrate a couple birthdays. The service was awesome and the food was very good. Everyone had a great time. Two concerns: one is that there was a cake fee of $2.50 per person in our group. I think that's excessive and unnecessary. We will likely dine there again, just won't bring cake, it's not favorable for another birthday celebration where we traditionally order generously with appetizers, entrees and drinks. Second concern was Pinot Grigio was only offered by the bottle, that pushed us to order a bottle when we would have preferred to do otherwise and let attendees order what they want.

   We have had wonderful meals here before. This last week was a disappointment. Menu is seems more limited now and the corkage fee is excessive ($35). The tipping point for me was that the pasta dish (tagliatelle) was over-cooked such the noodles were all broken up and the sauce was entirely absorbed by the meat which made for a very dry dish. Given the price point and the pasta being the primary dish offered on the menu, one would expect more, a great deal more.

   We walked in for our reservation but could not be seated because the kitchen had already closed. They were unaware that there were more reservations

   The flavors were really good, but there was too much salt in the dishes. We ordered mushrooms as a side and really should have sent them back. The salmon was good- but it was pretty salty too- and we like salt so this was just too much. The vibe was fun & the waiter was great.
