Two chefs of The Spice Route Co. were sent on this ambitious task of traveling 29 states of India; gathering stories and experiences along the way and bringing home age-old regional recipes, which have been translated into our eclectic menu. The food was incredible. Having a Michelin star, I expected a bit more from the waitstaff. Not necessarily for their knowledge of the food, but how they guided us through options in the menu. That said, overall we’ll be back.

The ambiance was superb - the decor was festive, the live dj was amazing - she created an ambient sound scape that neither overpowered or underwhelmed the space, the din of the patrons in the space was such that we could hear each other talk and not be heard by others - the sound level was perfect and the restaurant was busy and lively. The food surpassed the superb ambience and was amazing, especially the desserts!!!! The lamb, octopus, and lentils were exquisite. The server, Sarah, was delightful, not only knowledgeable, friendly, and attuned to our interest level - she brought us the pastry chef so we could praise his creations and ask him questions - she had great timing. I would very much recommend this place and will return as the menu changes with the seasons, given it's ayurvedic cuisine.

I had the 12-course tasting menu. Incredible. Outstanding service, from top to bottom. Gorgeous interior. Food was out of this world for creativity, taste, presentation, and 'theme'. The ingredients, the sequencing, and the narrative (as told by any of a number of service staff) was enthralling. For my last meal on earth, this would be the place.

we did a tasting menu which was good but the room that we sat in (back room) didn’t seem to match the rest of the place with decor and tables. The linen tablecloths we had were dirty while other rooms had marble tables and tables embedded with seashell. I enjoyed the tasting menu but times between courses kept getting long and longer as the night progressed. We were there for 3 hours. The last course on the menu was mediocre at best and was just a couple of pralines. The restrooms were not being unkept and had water all over the sinks and paper towels strewn everywhere. Did not expect this for a Michelin star restaurant

Our waiter was very knowledgeable. Shared a ton of details about each item we ordered. Ambiance was nice. The appetizers we ordered were the paani puri & the oysters. They were decent. The main dishes we ordered were the butter chicken and the dal Musaafer and they were fantastic! We also got a side of basmati rice and garlic naan. The cocktails are fantastic especially the Zaffran & Pisco Sour! Won’t necessarily crave the food but would come back for sure!

The chef's tasting menu is a once in a lifetime experience of an overwhelming sensory adventure. We booked it for a special occasion and could not have been more pleased with the unique combination of flavors, the service, and the ambiance.

Went for Valentine's Day. Food was on point except that it was actually too much. Bill was over $400 for two people. No drinks involved. That came out to $40 per course for a six course meal for two people.
