The Legend of Felix + The Key
A long time ago, a man named Félix fell in love with Ixchel – the mayan goddess of the moon, love, & textile arts. Félix won the key to her heart after passionately making offerings of food & libations from recipes passed down through generations of his Mexican ancestors. We honor Felix’s spirit through a pan-Mexican kitchen, a cuisine inspired from all seven regions of Mexico. We hope to inspire our guests with a taste of what can be accomplished with passionate ambition and love for Mexican cuisine.

The food is very good. Nice spice to the dishes we ordered although could have been warmer coming from the kitchen. It’s a very festive restaurant with groups and families so a bit on the noisy side. The food is delicious and creative. Definitely recommend !

From the initial entry, our experience was outstanding. The hostess was so friendly and remembered our name throughout the night and spoke to us whenever walking by. The waitress was very helpful with great recommendations to help us decide what to eat and drink. Beautifully decorated for Christmas and nice energy inside. Definitely coming back!

I wanted to like the food, but it wasn’t all that great. Not a lot of flavor and not a good value. The Fajitas for two to three wasn’t good. The condiments were small and weird, no guacamole, very small amounts of everything, certainly NOT enough for two to three. The street corn wasn’t good , salsa trio weird and also tasteless. The server was great !!

Honestly, the service was pretty basic. One notch above counter service (which I’ve been here before and had good service), we shared the fajitas and for $60 we had to find someone to bring us more tortillas and it comes with zero avocado/guac but a bunch of other random (cheap) toppings. The margaritas are good here. But for $100 including tip for one drink (and waters) and one order of fajitas…there are way better options. It was crowded and so loud, so if you like loud, maybe decent service, maybe not and expensive, you found your place. I think I’ll stick to coming for nachos if I come back.
