Café Napoli is a family owned restaurant, established in 1989 by Tony and Kathy Pietoso. Quickly becoming a success, they moved the small basement restaurant to a larger location at the corner of Forsyth and Bemiston in the heart of Clayton. In 2003, sons Ande and Kye expanded their family restaurant by adding Bar Napoli, a swank cocktail lounge. A few years later, Napoli Reserve was added onto Bar Napoli allowing for private event space and an additional bar and lounge for the weekends. After years of a flourishing business, Kathy and Tony decided to take their ventures West to Town and Country where they opened their second location, Napoli2, managed by Ande. Kye has taken the reigns from his father and is now the front man for the 8,000 square foot establishment in Clayton. Café Napoli and Bar Napoli have recently undergone a face lift inside and out. Inside the kitchen, Executive Chef from Napoli2 Jon Berger was recently added to the team, bringing fresh ideas and innovation to the regional Italian specialties.

    I cannot thank the waitress that served my date and I enough! I’m so sorry I totally forgot her name but she was absolutely amazing! I had the see bass and it was absolutely the best dish I have ever experienced! The fish was perfectly cooked and so tender it just melted like butter in my mouth! So delicious and the asparagus aioli and rice and the balsamic drizzle complimented the dish perfectly! Amazing experience! I will definitely be visiting again soon!

    Our waiter Steve was informed, hospitable, and efficient! The food and drinks were delicious! Reservations were made for 5 pm - on the way to a concert nearby. Wonderful first dining experience at any of the Napoli locations in STL ; Napoli 3 was fantastic.

    Service and ambience was very nice but the food was underwhelming. The calamari appetizer was very good. The balance of flavors in the seafood pasta sauce and on the Chicken piccata were off. The noodles in the pasta were undercooked. We did not care for the red velvet cheese cake either.
