   Our first visit here on our long weekend break. Loved the idea of a British tapas! Food was amazing. Friendly service and lovely atmosphere. We chose from the small plates selection, 6 dishes in total, the pork and lamb was particularly delicious but overall we couldn't fault any of the dishes we chose. (Beetroot dish, salmon, black bomber and leek croquettes, confit duck leg) Followed by an Affogato dessert with amaretto instead of rum.

   Underwhelming. Unfortunately fell short of expectations. Food was tasty but let down by old fashioned presentation and service very slow and devoid of any personality, plus no pricing on the set menu felt pretentious. Atmosphere was stiff and felt unwelcoming This place could be great, my advice would be to improve the front of house experience, employ a host/wait staff who introduce themselves upon arrival, and form rapport with the customers, if there’s multiple available tables give guests the choice (we were given a terrible table by the door/service hatch when a lovely window table was available) and play some chilled music for ambience. All constructive criticism, no offence to the clearly talented chef or management intended.

We do take the observations and your two star review to heart and we will be discussing each and every point raised. We will try to figure out why your experience was at odds with so many others on the same day. Consistency needs to be our watchword. We do hope we'll see you again.

   Poor food not what we were expecting the roast lamb meat was fatty and over cooked ( you could not get the roast beef or lamb cooked to taste ) the vegetarian option was dry and undersea seasoned and needed a sauce .. dessert was okay but it was expensive for such a poor experience .. the service was okay

   The food was absolutely amazing, the best three course meal I have eaten. The service was impeccable, Beth was very attentive, as were all the staff. Lovely atmosphere, I felt very relaxed. 10/10 from me!

   Excellent tasty food. Love the small plates choices. Staff were professional and friendly. Great evening out for couples seeking a relaxed gentle quiet atmosphere. Prices again excellent

   Lovely evening, excellent menu , great staff . My only complaint is the lighting. Too bright . The decor, tables and chairs etc are quite severe ( in a nice way ) and I think the overall ambiance would be improved with softer lighting.

   Enjoyable evening meal with two small plates (scallops, confit duck) and side of potatos. On request, small plates brought in sequence with a different glass of wine for each. Food was well cooked and tasty. Fairly quiet until a hen party gradually increased (size and volume)! Enjoyed so much that I booked for Sunday lunch a couple of days later. Not so good. Roast beef, Yorkshire and trimmings. Two thin slices of beef, seemed to be machine sliced, fairly well done and less than tender. At this class of restaurant I would have expected to be asked about cuisson and served pink. Yorkshire and roasties OK and veg sides were fine. Lemon sponge as pudding was odd. Texture a bit rubbery and tasteless (microwave sponge?) although lemon sauce was fine. Chantilly cream a bit solid as if too much gelatine. One other table (walk in) Overall, between the two visits would rate as good for area, but room for improvement.

    A fantastic food venue not really known in Llandudno. Well worth a visit to try some really special and different food.
