NIKU X offers 2 exclusive unlimited dining experiences that highlight Wagyu and Luxury Seafood, located in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. Our BBQ Dining features 2 different tiers of unlimited A5 wagyu to be grilled by guests as well as our Seafood Buffet, where families and friends can enjoy an interactive dining style.
Our other experience features our 40oz Wagyu Tomahawk highlighted by our table side flame ritual. Here guests can enjoy an intimate atmosphere while still enjoying our Seafood buffet as well as our signature unlimited items.

    **This experience differs from our standard unlimited experience.** If you are looking for our standard unlimited steak experience, please proceed with a standard reservation. This special menu features our 40 oz large-format Wagyu Tomahawk that serves 2 guests. While other steak cuts will be limited, you will have full access to our seafood buffet and can order unlimited hot signature items from the kitchen. To enhance your experience, you'll also enjoy a special tableside flame ritual. Priced at $280 for 2 guests enjoying a Fresh Wagyu Tomahawk, and $320 for our Dry Aged Wagyu Tomahawk. Additional charges will be applied for additional guests. Please select 1 type of tomahawk menu option for every 2 guests in the reservation. *****Unfortunately we are currently out of stock on Dry Aged Wagyu Tomahawks until March 23******

Our Standard BBQ menu is a 120 minute, self-service experience with grilling features where guests can enjoy our unlimited Fresh A5 Wagyu Steaks and our luxury buffet line that features king crab, lobster tails, fresh sushi items and more. Guests can also choose from a variety of delicious side dishes plated by our chefs to complement their grilled wagyu. This interactive and social dining experience is available for $99 Monday-Thurdsay and $109 Friday-Sunday. A fee of 30% cost of menu price will be added to tables who have excessive left over food.

          Our array of hot dish items including Shrimp Tempura, Braised Wagyu and Potato Stew, and Wagyu Curry.

            New Zealand lamb breaded and fried. Served with our karashi Japanese mustard.

            • Miso Chillian Sea Bass

              Miso glazed and cooked to perfection.

              • Wagyu Tallow Shishito Pepper

                Cooked in wagyu tallow and our yakiniku sauce. Topped with bonito flakes.

                • Oxtail Potsticker

                  Hand wrapped, braised wagyu oxtail. Topped with yakiniku sauce and served with karashi Japanese mustard.

                  • Potato Pave

                    Thinly sliced potatoes layered with parmesean, chive, and butter, cut and fried. Served with our sweet shoyu crème fraîche.

                    • A5 Wagyu Katsu Sando

                      A5 top sirloin katsu on shokupan and topped with katsu sauce.

                      • A5 Wagyu Yaki Udon

                        A5 Wagyu Udon cooked in our house made stir fry sauce with broccoli.

                        • Waffle Fries w/ Garlic Aioli

                          • Miso Corn

                            Sweet corn cooked in our brown butter apple miso sauce.

                              Cooked table side.

                              • Black Pepper Wagyu Tenderloin Don

                                Wagyu Tenderloin in a black pepper sauce with bell peppers over a bed of white rice.

                                          The selections, quality of the food especially silly the cooked dishes were so bad. Totally not worth the price $139 per person . Will not go back again👎👎👎

                                          I recently dined at Niku X on a Sunday. Overall, it was a very good experience. The AYCE Japanese A5 Wagyu was the star of the show, and it is an incredible value that almost seems too good to be true. They did have certification displayed up front, for the record. The quality of the Wagyu was outstanding, and easily the highlight of the meal. Beyond the Wagyu, several dishes stood out. The Seabass was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The Tom Yum soup was the right amount of spice. It was fantastic. The caviar was fresh. I wish we were able to have more than one small serving per person. Service was strong, and above average. However, not everything was flawless. The King crab legs and lobster tails were disappointingly small. The desserts also seemed like an afterthought. The quality and the portions of Wagyu made up for the shortcomings, however. Overall, Niku X is hard to beat for the price.

                                          Nice atmosphere . But the service and food was definitely not what we expected. This was a very special day for us and it was ruined by the quality of food. My husband said the 2 things he really enjoyed was sprite and water I will never come back this was absolutely very frustrating on our special day

                                          It was good, my brother and my mom loved it. We had a great server. Overall it was an awesome experience. Been to Niku x for the 4th time. Quality of meat stays top tier 🙏🙏

                                          With the $110 buffet they can’t afford a cloth napkin?? Stingy with the paper napkin. My request for extra napkins was ignored ! Nobody explained what are the available choices! I was just told to order the buffet because the tomahawk is too expensive! We went there gor the tomahawk experience and was discouraged by the staff??? Choices in buffet is very limited !!!

                                          Overall, we had a good dinner, celebrating my sister's birthday. I made the reservation 2 months ago, and the menu and the price had changed since when I made the reservation. Meat items like the ribeye were removed from the $99 menu, and the weekend price is now $109. Oysters and scallops are not on the menu, and they ran out of sea bass, which made this less of an experience than what we had anticipated. All the items presented were of high quality, and the staff are very friendly.
