   Lovely afternoon very attentive service, nice selection of wines. Food (roast dinner) all fantastic but 1 beef sent back as overcooked but very quickly replaced and with delicious rare beef. We were celebrating a big birthday which was acknowledged on sitting but I had hoped perhaps for the dessert to be served on a happy birthday plate so a bit disappointed. Overall really great and will definitely return.

   The restaurant is lovely. Our waiter was attentive without being overpowering. We were given time between courses so didn't get that rushed feeling that you sometimes get on a Sunday. All three courses were delicious.

   Superb food in a lovely setting. 4 of us had the Business Lunch which was good value with a choice of 3 starters, main and desserts, and exactly the right amount of food for lunchtime. We all enjoyed our lunch and would thoroughly recommnend it.

   Very pleasant lunch. The food was good - the starter (crispy duck salad) was ok but nothing special, the main (cod) was very good and the crème brûlée was excellent. Friendly staff. Sat outside the seats weren’t very comfortable. A good experience overall - will go back.

   Had a lovely evening in this gem of a local restaurant, Food was amazing and beautifully presented. Service was first class and the ambience and cleanliness of the restaurant and garden were exemplary.

   Fabulous cocktails, tender and tasty lamb and Yorkshire puddings that melted in the mouth, excellent wine recommendation by Jamie, great service. Can’t recommend highly enough.
