I went two days in a row. The first evening was a great experience. Noah was my bartender. He made amazing drinks and provided outstanding service! We ordered 5 items, and 3/5 items came out about an hour after we ordered them. That was really unpleasant.
The second night, our bartender was Tiana. She was really nice. For dinner, we reserved patio seating, but I’m unsure that is where we were seated. It looked like an extension of the dining area. If it was the patio, I’m curious to know what it looks like in the spring/summer. The food was terrible. We ordered the ribeye, cooked medium, it arrived well done with a sauce that tasted like a sweet A1 sauce. The Shrimp and Lobster Spicy Lemon Sauce was not good. The lobster was very fishy, and the sauce tasted bland with no spice. We also ordered the Prime Beef Toban Yaki. It came out medium, but the flame overcooked it when it was presented. At that point we were still hungry, so we ate that dish. The sushi and truffle rice were so yummy.
I’ve been to Nobu Malibu several times, and had an amazing experience, from the service to the food. The service at Nobu Atlanta was really awesome. However, the food was not. I would only come back for drinks and appetizers.
