NORIKO handroll bar is a new sushi restaurant concept specializing in handrolls which are prepared immediately in front of you. Each unique handroll is packed with flavor and carefully crafted with high quality ingredients in this intimate underground space.

                                                          Extremely disappointing experience. Arrived for our 830 res for my husband’s birthday (which I noted) and were told it would be another 15 minute wait beyond our booking time. Sat down closer to 850. Kitchen staff were already doing shift close clean up which kills the vibe. Food was delicious, but my husband literally lifted his hand to finish his last bite and the sever started taking our plates and (not empty) glasses without asking if we were finished. We had planned to have another drink at least, and there were at least half a dozen other diners still at the counter. We felt whisked out and it was only 9:45 when we left.

                                                          There was an inch long bone in the bluefin tuna hand roll. When I brought it up, they didn’t apologize and just offered to remake it. Pretty disappointing - deboning fish properly should be a top priority for a sushi restaurant.
