Northshore Brasserie is a family owned, full-service restaurant and bar serving French Belgian cuisine in a relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere. Over the last decade, we have become a Knoxville favorite known for hearty delicious food, and outstanding service. For dinner, we specialize in Brasserie classics, such as: steak frites, mussels, roast chicken, fresh seafood, and handmade pastas. We also take advantage of local produce and meats to create in season specials. Our bar has a vibrant, unpretentious atmosphere where locals and out-of-towners gather to enjoy craft cocktails, Belgian beers, and a selection of wines from around the world.

Service and overall horrible, as we arrived at our reservation time, where sat promptly, and we’re excited about the meal. Shortly after being seated, settled in and getting our drinks, we were rudely told that the table that they sat us at, was booked for somebody else, and made us move. If this would’ve been done in an even remotely apologetic and professional fashion, it may not have been an issue, but we were honestly treated like we had done some sin by sitting there, and it was literally where they sat at us. Their fault, and then taking their frustrations for their mistake out on us. It became very uncomfortable and we promptly left. Then they proceeded to tell OpenTable that we didn’t show up for our reservation. In terms of the food and everything else, who knows because we weren’t even given the opportunity to eat there due to the rude treatment that we received. Could’ve been one off, but certainly ruined our evening.

We had a fun and delicious Valentine’s dinner! Brittany was fantastic! She was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. I appreciated her attention to detail and professionalism! We will definitely be back soon!

We love coming to the Brasserie on Valentine's Day. It is such a pleasure to have the best attention to detail, including the menu, the best server, and the best atmosphere, so close to home.
