   O-Ku was a fantastic place to eat. The ambience is amazing, the staff was incredible, and the food was top tier. We had the beef short ribs, which were fall off the bone and incredibly juicy. We also had the GOAT, Rainbow, volcano, and crunch tuna rolls which were also very good! You have to try their oyster mushrooms which were to die for. All the servers really cater to you and make you feel very good about the restaurant you’re in! Amazing place! It is a must try. If we are ever back out in Greenville, we will be coming back.

   Phenomenal work to the staff & management for every aspect of this restaurant. Laura was a great waitress and very polite, the food was great with amazing presentation. All the remaining staff members created a great atmosphere/impression. Definitely worth the visit when in the area.

   We had a large party and the service was phenomenal! So many different people came to check on us and make sure everything was perfect. Braised beef short rib was the most delicious thing I’ve ever put in my mouth. Also the best sushi I’ve ever had! We will come back again soon!

   I've only visited the restraunt twice and the food and service were great both times. There are a wide variety of choices on the menu for anyone who doesn't eat raw fish.

   Very good Japanese creative food, not exceptional Food: Sashimi items: Salmon: was good Bluefin tuna: excellent Fatty tuna (otoro): just ok Hotate scallops: if it was truly from Japan, then either a poor quality or got bad during transport or storing/preparing. Avoid Rolls: The G.O.A.T.: skip it. The goat cheese is overpowering just a failed creative project. The Falls: is really good. We enjoyed it The Acevichado: was OK Chef specialities: Hamachi carpaccio is excellent Temaki: The Cod Slaw Temaki was THE BEST DISH we tried today. Highly recommended Small plates: Oyster mushrooms dish was good and tasty. Not exceptional though… can easily be skipped. Shishito peppers: good for greens/veggies Drinks: two very good, one is not Sugar + Spice (always excellent) Sunset Harvest (always a favorite) IWAI 85 (very mediocre) Dessert: Strawberry Yuzu Eclair is very good Service: very attentive and helpful. Just the waitress recommendations did not meet our taste. They honored our request for seating area. They read the note we placed on the reservation. Not all do. Ambience: very spacious, inviting atmosphere Value: fair prices but on the higher side Recommendation: yes, highly recommended for sushi items in that area.

   Although we’ve been to the peace Center many times this was our first time having dinner here before a show. We loved it!! The god tasted fresh and delicious. My husband had the miso soup which he said was unlike any other. We split a seafood salad (yum) and then he had sushi and I had the branzino. My fish was cooked perfectly and the veggies that came with it were seasoned delicately and cooked so that they still had a little crunch and not at all mushy. For dessert we split the chocolate cherry brûlée which was to die for. Be prepared that it’s a bit noisy as it’s a very modern decorated interior but not off putting. Our server was attentive without being intrusive and very well versed in all of the dishes. We will definitely be back!

   My food was just ok, service was good. The counter was the only available reservation. I would not suggest sitting there, it was very uncomfortable. The seating is extremely cramped.
